SMS Terms & Conditions

01Program Overview

These Terms & Conditions govern the Sutherland Construction Project Notifications program — an SMS messaging service operated by Sutherland Construction and Remodeling Inc (d/b/a Sutherland Construction). The program delivers transactional, project-related text messages to homeowners working with us on design-build and remodeling projects across the Greater New Orleans area.

By enrolling, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy.

02Eligibility & Consent

To receive messages, you must be at least 18 years old and either the account holder for the mobile number you provide or authorized to act on the account holder's behalf.

You opt in by checking the SMS consent box on our consultation booking form and submitting your mobile number. The box is unchecked by default — you must affirmatively select it to enroll.

Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Sutherland Construction. You may decline text messaging and still book a consultation, request an estimate, or hire us for any project.

03Message Types & Frequency

Once enrolled, you may receive text messages related to your project and your engagement with Sutherland Construction, including:

• Appointment confirmations and reschedule notices for consultations, site visits, and walkthroughs
• Crew arrival windows and day-of dispatch notifications
• Estimate-ready notices when proposals are prepared for your review
• Project status updates over the course of construction
• Replies to questions you start by text

Message frequency varies with the stage of your project and the pace of work underway. Expect more messages during active construction and fewer between project phases.

04Costs

The Sutherland Construction Project Notifications program is free from us. However, message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Check with your wireless provider for the rates that apply to your account.

05Opting Out

You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message you receive from us. The keywords UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT work the same way — each removes you from the program.

After you send STOP, we'll send a single confirmation acknowledging your opt-out, and you won't receive any further messages from this program. To rejoin later, simply opt in again through the consultation booking form.

07Supported Carriers & Carrier Disclaimer

This program is supported on all major U.S. wireless carriers — including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, and Metro by T-Mobile — as well as their respective MVNOs.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on successful transmission by your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed by Sutherland Construction.

08Privacy

We respect your privacy. Information collected through the SMS program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Mobile information — including phone numbers and SMS opt-in data — is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

09Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to the program, our practices, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and post the revised terms at this address. Your continued participation after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
